I began my training as an acupuncturist over 10 years ago when I spent 4 years training as a T.C.M. (Traditional Chinese Medicine) practitioner. Whilst this training and journey was a fascinating one, as I began treating patients I felt that I was missing something, that I wasn’t getting to the root cause of my patients suffering and wasn’t supporting them on a level deeper than the physical.

My discovery of Five Element Acupuncture was the missing piece of the puzzle for me. I discovered a system of medicine that strives to treat the person on the level of not only body, but also mind and spirit, one that seeks to work in tune with nature in an elegant and profound way.

I have experienced first-hand the profound impact this deceptively simple treatment process has had on me as a person- it has helped me personally overcome epilepsy, conceive my three children and recover after a traumatic birth.

I continue to see the impact of this elegant form of medicine on my patients every day, be it in the alleviation of digestive symptoms, support in a fertility journey, the lifting of anxiety and depression or quite simply feeling more comfortable in their own skin.

As well as being a Five Element acupuncturist I am also a postpartum doula and matrescence facilitator and much of my work focuses on women’s health, fertility and finding your feet after birth.

I work in a beautiful purpose built space nestled at the foot of the Wicklow mountains in Ireland.
